🍌 Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪
Soft, chewy cookies with rich banana flavor and melty chocolate
🍗 Ingredients
½ cup (115g) butter, ½ cup caster sugar, ½ cup brown sugar, 1 ripe banana (mashed), 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1½ cups flour, ½ tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp coffee powder (optional), ½ tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, ¼ tsp salt, ¾ cup chocolate chunks
👨🍳 Instructions
In a mixing bowl, beat ½ cup butter, ½ cup caster sugar, and ½ cup brown sugar using a hand mixer for 2–3 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 mashed banana. Mix until smooth and creamy.
In another bowl, measure 1½ cups of flour, ½ tsp of cinnamon, ½ tsp of coffee powder, ½ tsp of baking powder, ½ tsp of baking soda, and ¼ tsp of salt using measuring cups & spoons.
Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture and fold in ¾ cup chocolate chunks.
Scoop dough onto a non-stick baking tray, freeze for 1 hour.
Bake at 175–180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.

Chilling the dough ensures thick, bakery-style cookies.
